Mukwa Media is a Los Angeles based production company owned and operated by Actress and Producer Sarah Podemski. Sarah is an award winning Anishinaabe/Ashkenzi multidisciplinary performer with credits including, SyFy’s “Resident Alien” and FX’s award winning series “Reservation Dogs”.

Since beginning in the entertainment industry 30 years ago, Sarah has become passionate about recreating the Indigenous Narratives in Hollywood that have been so often misrepresented on screen.

Founded in 2023, Mukwa Media is Sarah’s hope to contribute to the ever changing landscape of Indigenous voices and narrative sovereignty.
